Commercial Compliance The Government of Nagaland on August 31, 2024, issued the notification regarding the Amended rate of Tax for diesel and Petrol and other Motor Spirit.

The following has been stated namely: -

• Diesel – The rate of tax has been amended to 17.20% or Rs. 12.83 per litre, whichever is higher

• Petrol & Other Motor Spirit – The rate of tax has been amended to 21.75% or Rs. 16.94 per litre, whichever is higher.

This shall come into force on June 30, 2024.
