The Department of Agriculture, Punjab on September 19, 2024, notified regarding the control over the purchase, sale, storage, and processing of certain agricultural produce.
The following has been stated namely: -
• This is in reference to the Department of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare, Notification No. S.O.32/ P.A.23/1961/S.5/2023, dated April 13, 2023 (attached below).
• The government has declared control over the purchase, sale, storage, and processing of agricultural produce as specified in column No.2 of the Schedule such as Pineapple, Broccoli, Lettuce, Avocado, Coconut, Dragon Fruit, Strawberry, Baby Corn, Sharda, Cherry, Green Almonds, Jackfruit, Date and Kiwi.
