The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), on September 23, 2024, issued Draft Bureau of Energy Efficiency (Particulars and Manner of their Display on Labels of Refrigerators), (Amendment) Regulations, 2024 to further amend the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (Particulars and Manner of their Display on Labels of Refrigerators) Regulations, 2022.
The following has been stated-
•In all the FORMS of the principal regulations, for figures and words “Bureau of Energy Efficiency (Particulars and Manner of their Display on Labels of Refrigerators), Regulations, 2022” wherever they occurs the following figures and words shall be substituted namely.- “Bureau of Energy Efficiency (Particulars and Manner of their Display on Labels of Refrigerators), (Amendment) Regulations, 2024”.
•In the said regulations, in item 2(e) of FORM II (B), word “five” shall be substituted by word “thirteen”.
•In the said regulations, under item 3 of annexure appended to FORM II shall be substituted.
Objection or suggestion, if any, should be addressed for the given that the draft amendment on or after the expiry of thirty days from the date of publication of this Notification
