The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoH&FW) on September 24, 2024, issued a corrigendum in the Cigarettes and other Tobacco Products (Prohibition of Advertisement and Regulation of Trade and Commerce, Production, Supply and Distribution) draft Amendment Rules, 2024.
The following has been stated: -
•For the words “Cigarette and other Tobacco Products (Prohibition of Advertisement and Regulation of Trade and Commerce, Production, Supply, and Distribution) Rules, 2024”, wherever they appear, except in Rule 1, sub-rule (1) shall be substituted as: -
“Cigarette and other Tobacco Products (Prohibition of Advertisement and Regulation of Trade and Commerce, Production, Supply and Distribution) Rules, 2004”
