The Government of Nagaland on July 26, 2024, issued the Draft Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Rules, for Excluded Areas, Assam, 2024, In Force in the State of Nagaland (with up to date Nagaland Amendments).
The following has been stated namely: -
• Rule 52 (d) which states about the No Objection Certificate Fee, shall be substituted with "52(d). The fee for the grant of "No Objection Certificate" shall be Rs. 1000/- (Rupees five hundred) for all types of vehicles."
• Rule 67 (a) which states about the Application Fee, shall be substituted with "67(a). Every application for a permit in respect of Transport Vehicle shall accompanied by an application fee of Rs. 20/- (Rupees Twenty) only."
• Rule 72 (f) which states about the Inter-State Permit Fee, shall be substituted with "72(F). The fee in the form of authorization of goods for an inter-state permit shall be Rs. 300/- (Rupees three hundred) only per annum, provided payment of such fee under the terms of the agreement has not been prescribed.”
