The Airports Authority of India (AAI) on September 19, 2024, issued the Airports Authority of India (Leave) Amendment Regulations, 2024, to further amend the Airports Authority of India (Leave) Regulations, 2003.
This shall come into effect from October 01, 2020.
Regulation 11 (10) (2) - "Encashment of unutilized half pay leave" shall be substituted, it states that unutilized earned and half pay leave can be encashed upon retirement or under specific conditions (death, cessation of service after 20 years) up to a maximum of 300 days, with cash equivalent calculated as (Half of Basic Pay + Dearness Allowance)/30 × number of half pay leave days at credit, ensuring total leave does not exceed 300 days.
