Industry Specific ComplianceThe Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) on September 25, 2024, issued a clarification regarding the reduction of testing fee for Pan-India Surveillance.

The following has been stated namely: -

• The reduction of testing fee is applicable to the Pan-India surveillance conducted by QA Division, FSSAI HQ only. 

• The reduction is not related to surveys conducted under National Annual Surveillance Plan (NASP) or any other regular surveillance by States/UTs.
