The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on September 27, 2024, issued the Consultation paper on draft circular for “Disclosure of expenses, half yearly returns, yield and risk-o-meter of schemes of Mutual Funds”.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It is proposed that disclosures pertaining to both direct plan as well as regular plan may be disclosed in a standard format
• It is further proposed that the risk-o-meter should be colour coded, and the format for disclosure should be standardized for the change in risk-o-meters of a Mutual Fund scheme as well as its benchmark.
• Public comments are invited on the draft Circular on “Disclosure of expenses, half yearly returns, yield and risk-o-meter of schemes of Mutual Funds”, placed at Annexure A. The comments/suggestions should be submitted latest by October 18, 2024, through the following link - https://www.sebi.gov.in/sebiweb/publiccommentv2/PublicCommentAction.do?doPublicComments=yes in the prescribed format
