The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on September 27, 2024, issued the notification regarding the update on the Change in the Contract Expiry date of Currency Derivative Contracts.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The following changes in the Contract Expiry date has been made for the currency derivative contracts effective from October 03,2024: -
The Expiry date for the Currency Derivatives (OPTCUR and FUTCUR) has been revised to October 31, 2024.
• The existing Currency Futures and options contracts expiring on November 01, 2024 will foreclosed/expired on Tuesday October 01,2024 and will be removed from master files. New contracts with revised expiry date as mentioned above will be generated on Tuesday October 01,2024 end of day.
• The aforesaid changes will be part of end of day contract master files on Tuesday October 01, 2024.
