The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on September 20, 2024, issued the date of establishment and withdrawal for Indian Standard Particulars related to High-Voltage Fuses for the External Protection of Shunt Capacitors.
The following has been established on September 06, 2024:
• IS 9402: 2024 IEC 60549: 2013 High-Voltage Fuses for the External Protection of Shunt Capacitors (First Revision)
• IS 18589 (Part 4): 2024 ISO 16073-4: 2019 Wildland Firefighting Personal Protective Equipment — Requirements and Test Methods Part 4 Gloves
• IS 18804: 2024 ISO 23616: 2022 Cleaning, Inspection and Repair of Firefighters’ Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
The following will be withdrawn on March 06, 2025:
• IS 9402 – 1980 Specification for High-Voltage Fuses for External Protection of Shunt Power Capacitors
• IS 10624 – 1983 Specification for High Voltage Fuse Links for Motor Circuit Applications
