Labour Compliance The Government of Himachal Pradesh on September 17, 2024, announced a paid holiday in Jammu & Kashmir and Haryana on account of Poll Day.

The following has been stated:

• It has declared a paid holiday on account of the General Election to the Legislative Assembly-2024 in Jammu & Kashmir (UT) on September 18, 2024 (Wednesday), September 25, 2024 (Wednesday) and October 01, 2024 (Tuesday) and Legislative Assembly-2024 in Haryana State on October 01, 2024 (Saturday) as per schedule announced by Election Commission of India.
