Finance & Taxation ComplianceThe Ministry of Finance (MoF) on September 17, 2024, issued amendments to an older notification no. 18/2022-Central Excise, dated July 19, 2022, related to the exemption of excisable goods.

The following amendments have been stated:

• Against S. No. 1, for the entry in column (4), the entry “Nil per tonne” shall be substituted.

This notification will come into force from September 18, 2024.
