The Directorate General of Foreign Trade, (DGFT) on September 13, 2024, issued a notification regarding the Allocation of quantity 5841 MT of Sugar by EU for export from India under TRQ for the year 2024-25 (October 2024 to September 2025)
The following has been stated-
•Export of sugar to the EU under TRQ is classified as "Free" under specific conditions, and certificates of origin will be issued by the Additional Director General of Foreign Trade, Mumbai. The quota will be managed by APEDA, which will also oversee reporting requirements as per previous notifications.
