The International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) on September 28, 2024, issued a consultation paper regarding Guidelines on Cyber Security and Cyber Resilience for Regulated Entities in IFSC.
The following has been stated namely: -
• These Guidelines outline IFSCA's expectations for Regulated Entities, emphasizing proportional implementation based on operational scale, activity nature, ecosystem interconnectedness, and associated cyber risks.
• The major components of the guidelines are Governance, Cyber security and cyber resilience framework, Third Party Risk Management, Communication & Awareness, and Audit.
Comments and suggestions from the public are invited on the consultation paper latest by October 19, 2024, comments may be sent by email to Mr. Praveen Kamat, General Manager & Chief Information Security Officer at [email protected], with a copy to Mr. Chintan Panchal, Manager at [email protected] and Mr. Abhinav Kadyalwar, Assistant Manager at [email protected].
