The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) on September 26, 2024, issued a notification regarding the amendment to notification no. 36/2001-Customs (N.T.), dated August 03, 2001, to revise the traffic values of various Oils, Gold, Silver and Areca nuts
The following has been amended namely: -
• The Tariff value of Table 1 which states “Crude Palm Oil, RBD Palm Oil, Others Palm Oil, etc.” has been amended
• The Tariff value of Table 2 which states “Gold, Silver, etc.” has been amended
• The Tariff value of Table 3 which states “Areca Nuts” has been amended.
This shall come into force on October 01, 2024.
