Secretarial ComplianceThe Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on September 30, 2024, issued a notification regarding the Quarterly incident reporting for the period ended on September 30, 2024, through BEFS only.

Members are reminded to submit their Quarterly Cyber Security Incident reports for July-September 2024 through the BSE E-Filing System (BEFS) by October 15, 2024. Reports must be digitally signed, and submission is completed upon receiving an acknowledgement email.

For Immediate Incident Reporting, any significant cyber incidents must be reported within 6 hours through BEFS as per SEBI guidelines. Failure to comply could result in financial penalties or disciplinary actions.

Members must refer to the user manual provided for guidance on submitting cybersecurity reports. Non-compliance with the reporting guidelines, including Quarterly or Immediate Incident Reporting, can result in financial disincentives and disciplinary actions. Details of applicable penalties are listed, with specific reference to non-compliance penalties mentioned in Table 1 attached to the document.
