The Ministry Of Law And Justice (MoL&J) on September 30, 2024, notified Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu Co-operative Societies Regulation, 2024.
The following has been stated: -
•Regulation 2 lists various definitions of the terms like authorized person and cooperative society.
•Regulation 3 specifies the Registrar and officers and their powers.
•Regulation 4 specifies Societies which may be registered.
•Regulation 5 specifies Registration with limited liability.
It shall come into force on such date, as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
