Finance & Taxation Compliance The Transport Department, Kerala on September 25, 2024, notified regarding the extension of the period of remittance of quarterly tax due to the landslide in the Wayanadu District.

It is stated that due to the landslide in the Wayanadu District, the operators of vehicles are facing an acute financial crisis, the government extends the period of remittance of quarterly tax for the quarter commencing from July 01, 2024, with respect to stage carriages permitted in the District of Wayanadu, up to October 13, 2024.
