The Government of Bihar on September 11, 2024, regarding the Amnesty Electric Vehicle Scheme.
The State Government hereby grants exemption from penalty/interest on payment of due lump sum toll/green tax by tax-negligent transport/non-transport vehicle/tractor-trailer/battery-operated vehicle (Electric Vehicle) registered in the State of Bihar and amnesty from all types of penalty to all types of unregistered vehicles (except unregistered vehicles of emission standard BS-IV) tractor-trailer/battery-operated vehicle (Electric Vehicle) on payment of due lump sum toll and waiver of penalty imposed on vehicle dealers on payment of due trade tax and temporary registration fees by them, subject to the conditions. This scheme will be applicable from the date of coming into effect of the notification till March 31, 2025.
