The Government of Rajasthan on October 01, 2024, notified regarding the campaign to identify illegal water connections across the state.
The following has been stated namely: -
• A campaign will be launched from October 5 to identify and take action against illegal water connections across the state, ensuring effective enforcement and regularization for violators.
• The Principal Secretary emphasized the need for effective monitoring at the Executive Engineer level to expedite pending drinking water connections in Jaipur and warned that strict action would be taken against any negligent officers, directing thorough oversight of the process from online application to connection completion.
