The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) on October 01, 2024, issued notice for public comments on FBOs in manufacturing Ayurveda-based food products.
A compendium of Ayurveda Aahara recipes, based on 71 authoritative texts as per the Food Safety and Standards (Ayurveda Aahara) Regulations, 2022, has been prepared to assist Food Business Operators (FBOs) in manufacturing Ayurveda-based food products. Before finalizing, FSSAI seeks comments and suggestions from stakeholders. These inputs, supported by scientific evidence or excerpts from authoritative Ayurveda texts, should be submitted in the prescribed format within 30 days of the notice's publication.
