Industry Specific Compliance The Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises on October 02, 2024, notified regarding the wage increase for Khadi Artisans and Special Discounts on Gandhi Jayanti.

The following has been stated namely: -

• Spinners using the charkha will see a 25% wage increase, weavers on the loom will receive a 7% hike, and a special discount of 20% on Khadi products and 10% on Village Industries products has been introduced.

• The revised wages shall come into effect on October 2, 2024, on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.
