The Labour Department, Gujarat on October 03, 2024, issued the minimum rate of wages under the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It provides the rates of Minimum Wages to be paid to labourers effective from April 24, 2023, for skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled workers.
• It provides the rate of special allowance for October 01, 2024, to March 31, 2025, for workers employed in any manufacturing company, shops & establishment, and contractors.
