Labour Compliance The Government of Tamil Nadu on October 02, 2024, revised the minimum rates of wages for employment in the Food Processing Industry.

The minimum basic wages for common categories of employees in the Food Processing Industry are:

• Manager (Zone A: ₹8892, Zone B: ₹8735),

• Chemist (Zone A: ₹7806, Zone B: ₹7705),

• Supervisor (Zone A: ₹7705, Zone B: ₹7604), and

• Accountant/Cashier (Zone A: ₹7705, Zone B: ₹7604)
