The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), on October 03, 2024, issued a notification regarding the relaxation from compliance with certain provisions of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
SEBI has extended the relaxations regarding the physical distribution of financial statements to shareholders for Annual General Meetings (AGMs) and other general meetings conducted electronically until September 30, 2025. This extension follows the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) circular, continuing the relief provided earlier.
Listed entities must comply with specific conditions outlined in SEBI’s Master Circular dated July 11, 2023, while utilizing these relaxations. This includes adherence to electronic distribution requirements for reports and documents associated with AGMs during the extended period.
