The Government of Telangana on October 01, 2024, issued the notification regarding amendment to the Telangana Wood Based Industries (Regulation) Rules, 2022.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Rule 11 which states “seizure, confiscation of machinery with timber, penalty and revocation of license” sub-rule (9) shall be substituted, namely: -
“If the renewal fee along with late fee is not paid up to 31st December of the following year, the licence shall be deemed to have been lapsed and no request for renewal shall be entertained by any authority except State Level Committee (SLC)”
