The Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying (MoFAHD) on September 20, 2024, issued the Request for Comments on Draft Standard Veterinary Treatment Guidelines (SVTG).
The following has been stated:
• These guidelines provide comprehensive information on various diseases, addressing key aspects such as diagnosis, treatment, control, and biosecurity. The SVTG covers treatment for almost all diseases of livestock and poultry, categorized under sub-heads such as non-infectious, systemic, and metabolic diseases of ruminants (large and small), infectious diseases of large ruminants, infectious diseases of small ruminants, and standalone chapters on infectious, systemic, and metabolic diseases of pigs, poultry, yak, mithun, camel, and equine (horses, donkeys, and mules).
