The National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) on September 30, 2024, notified the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (Minimum Essential Standards, Assessment and Rating for Postgraduate Institutions and Minimum Standards of Postgraduate Unani Education) Regulations, 2024.
The following has been stated: -
•Regulation 2 lays down various definitions of the terms like sanctioned intake capacity and stand-alone Postgraduate institution.
•Regulation 3 specifies the General considerations.
•Regulation 4 specifies Academic hierarchy.
•Regulation 5 specifies the Postgraduate Degree Programmes.
They shall come into force on October 04, 2024.
