The Ministry Of Commerce and Industry (MoC&I) on October 01, 2024, issued the Draft Indian Boiler (Amendment) Regulations, 2024, to further amend the Indian Boiler Regulations, 1950.
The following amendment has been stated:
• In regulation 382, which states “"Engraving of registry number”, in sub- regulation (a), in the list of States and Union territories with their distinguishing letters, for the entry “Telangana TS”, the following entry shall be substituted, namely:
o Telangana TG
The Objections or suggestions, if any, may be addressed to the Secretary, Central Boilers Board, Ministry of Commerce and Industry (Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade), Room No. 126A, Udyog Bhawan, New Delhi- 110 011 or sent by email at [email protected]) within the period of 45 days from October 01, 2024.
