Industry Specific ComplianceThe National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) on October 04, 2024, notified National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (Minimum Essential Standards, Assessment and Rating for Postgraduate Institutions and Minimum Standards for Postgraduate Education in Ayurveda) Regulations, 2024.

The following has been stated: -

•Regulation 2 lays down various definitions of the terms like sanctioned intake capacity and stand-alone Postgraduate institution.

•Regulation 3 specifies the General considerations.

•Regulation 4 specifies Postgraduate Degree Programmes.

•Regulation 5 specifies the Minimum Essential Standards for Postgraduate Institutions where Undergraduate Programme is in Existence.

They shall come into force on October 07, 2024.
