The Andaman & Nicobar Administration on October 07, 2024, issued a notification regarding streamlined Udyam Registration for MSMEs.
The following has been stated: -
•The District Industries Centre in Andaman & Nicobar Islands is implementing Udyam Registration to enhance the Ease of Doing Business for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises. Existing enterprises must re-register under this scheme, as it applies only to those that have begun commercial production or services.
•It's important to note that Udyam Registration can only be done through the official portal, and no private entities are authorized for this service.
