The Government of Kerala on October 03, 2024, notified Kerala Forest Produce Transit (Amendment) Rules, 2024 further to amend the Kerala Forest Produce Transit Rules, 1975.
The following has been stated: -
•In rule 2, in clause (b), after the words “these rules” the words “or a Form as per National Transit Pass System” shall be inserted.
•In rule 3, in clause (iii) of sub-rule (1), the following words shall be added at the end, namely:- “or Transit Pass or No Objection Certificate issued through online National Transit Pass System. The Transit Pass or No Objection Certificate shall be issued by a person duly authorized under these rules or as per the online National Transit Pass System. The Transit Pass or No Objection Certificate issued as per the National Transit Pass System shall also be valid within the State of Kerala.”.
They shall come into force at once.
