The Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL) on October 08, 2024, issued a notification regarding the revised format for a report on Internal Audit and Concurrent Audit of Risk Prone Areas of DP Operations for the Half Year Ended September 30, 2024.
The following has been stated: -
•Participants must conduct an internal audit of their CDSL operations for the half year ending September 30, 2024, by qualified auditors, submitting reports online by November 15, 2024.
•The audit report must confirm the NISM certification of at least one auditor. DPs activated during this period must audit from activation to period end. Compliance officers should ensure adherence to guidelines, and DPs are encouraged to rotate auditors to avoid long-term associations.
