The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on October 07, 2024, issued the amendment to certain Indian Standards (IS).
The amendment of the following IS has been established on September 18, 2024 namely: -
• IS 2026 (Part 10/Sec 1) : 2018 IEC 60076-10-1 : 2016 Power Transformers Part 10 Determination of Sound Levels Section 1 Application Guide - Amendment No. 1 September 2024
• IS 5244 : 2020 Safe Deposit Locker Cabinets — Specification (Fourth Revision) - Amendment No. 2 September 2024
• IS/ISO 5247-1 : 2004 Textile Machinery and Accessories — Weaving Machines Part 1 Vocabulary and Classification - Amendment No. 1 September 2024
The aforesaid IS shall remain in force without the amendment till March 17, 2025.
