The National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on October 09, 2024, notified regarding the Modification in contract specifications – 29MM Cotton Futures contract.
The following has been stated:
• The Summary of modifications in contract specifications for 29MM Cotton (Symbol: COTTON) Futures contracts expiring in the month of November 2024 and thereafter with effect from October 28, 2024 is given in Annexure I.
• The Existing contract specifications applicable for 29MM Cotton (Symbol: COTTON) Futures contracts expiring in the month of October 2024, November 2024, December 2024, January 2025, February 2025, March 2025, and April 2025 till October 25, 2024 is given in Annexure II.
• The Modified contract specifications for 29MM Cotton (Symbol: COTTON) Futures contracts expiring in the month of November 2024 and thereafter with effect from October 28, 2024 is given in Annexure III.
• The Premium/Discount for delivery location difference for contracts expiring in the month of November 2024 and thereafter with effect from October 28, 2024 is given in Annexure IV.
