The Government of Gujarat on October 04, 2024, notified regarding the payment of bonus for the year 2023-24.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that the payment of bonus shall be made before the festival of Diwali and continue till Diwali.
• It requests all the field officers to keep a close watch on the performance of bonus payment for the year 2023-24 in the industrial units and institutions in their area of work.
• It specifies that in case of any dispute or labour situation arising in large industries, units, holding 100 or more labourer, the labour situation should not rise immediately by effective intervention and bonus shall be paid to all the labourers.
