The Government of Sikkim on September 20, 2024, issued the Sikkim Government Rules of Business (Amendment), 2024 to further amend the Sikkim Government Rules of Business.
The following amendments have been stated:
• In rule 7A, for existing clause (a) and (c), the following shall be substituted, namely:-
"(a) The Chief Minister shall sanction expenditure not exceeding Rs. 50.00 lakhs in each individual case.
(c) The Cabinet Ministers of State shall sanction expenditure not exceeding Rs. 20.00 lakhs, in each individual case."
This shall come in effect from September 23, 2024.
