Industry Specific ComplianceThe Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on October 10, 2024, notified regarding the Registration of 100% students in classes IX and XI.

The following has been stated:

• It has directed to ensure that the registration of 100% of students of classes IX and XI studying in their schools is done. No student remained unregistered.

• The Board has decided that next year when LOC will be filled, the board will do no registration of any student. It has been observed that during LOC submission, some schools are informing the CBSE that their few students were left for registration in the previous year because of the following reasons:

o The student was not well and hospitalised

o The clerk has mistakenly left the student

o Technical error

o Name was deleted

o The student was not at the station, etc.

Such mistakes are not expected from the schools and will be viewed seriously. Hence, during registration, schools are directed to register all their students.
