The Andaman & Nicobar Administration on October 07, 2024, notified regarding the Udyam Registration for MSMEs under Ease of Doing Business.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that all the existing enterprises registered with the District Industries Centre, Department of Industries, Sri Vijaya Puram under various registration schemes such as SSI, Entrepreneurs Memorandums, Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum, etc are required to reregister under Udyam Registration.
• It clarifies that only the Government Udyam Registration Portal is authorized for Udyam Registration, and it is a free service with no private agency involved.
