The Government of Kerala on October 08, 2024, issued the Kerala Industrial Single Window Clearance Boards and Industrial Township Area Development (Amendment) Bill, 2024.
The following has been stated-
•In section 2 of the principal Act, in clause (a), for the word “enterprises” the word “enterprise” shall be substituted.
•In sub-section (1) of section 4 of the principal Act, for the words “setting up of small scale industrial undertakings having capital investment of more than two lakhs rupees” the words and symbols “setting up, running, expansion, diversification and modernisation of enterprises having a capital investment upto rupees fifteen Crores” shall be substituted.
•In section 6 of the principal Act, for the words “industrial undertaking” the word “enterprise” shall be substituted.
