The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on October 11, 2024, issued the Update on the Master Direction - Core Investment Companies (Reserve Bank) Directions, 2016.
The following has been stated namely: -
• In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 45JA, 45L and 45M of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 (2 of 1934), and of all the powers enabling it in this behalf, the Reserve Bank of India hereby issues to every Core Investment Company the Core Investment Companies (Reserve Bank) Directions, 2016
• This is in supersession of the Notification No. DNBS.(PD).219/CGM(US)-2011 and the Notification No. DNBS. (PD).220/CGM(US)-2011 dated January 05, 2011
