Finance & Taxation ComplianceThe Finance Department, Maharashtra on October 10, 2024, issued the notification regarding the date of enforcement of certain provisions under the Maharashtra Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Ordinance, 2024. 

The following has been stated namely: -

• October 01, 2024 is appointed as the date on which the provisions of sections 35 of the said Ordinance shall come into force

• April 01, 2025 is appointed as the date on which the provisions of sections 2 and 9 of the said Ordinance shall come into force.
