The Government of Kerala on October 07, 2024, notified Kerala Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Amendment Bill, 2024 further to amend the Kerala Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Act, 2018.
The following has been stated: -
•In clause (k) of section 2 of the Kerala Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Act, 2018 for the words “maintained and published by the Authority”, the words “maintained and published by the Council” shall be substituted.
•In section 15 for clause (e), the following clause shall be substituted, namely:- “(e) undertake to comply with the guidelines specifying the standard of safety, infection control and method of treatments;”.
•In section 20, for the word “three”, the word “five” shall be substituted.
It shall come into force at once.
