The Central Board of Direct Tax (CBDT) on September 30, 2024, issued a notification regarding the procedure for making a declaration and furnishing undertaking in Form-1 under Rule 4 of The Direct Tax Vivad Se Vishwas Rules, 2024.
The following has been stated: -
•Declarants under the Direct Tax Vivad Se Vishwas Scheme, 2024, must file Form-1 online through the Income Tax Department's e-filing portal. The form must be verified according to Section 140 of the Income Tax Act, 1961, and furnished electronically with a digital signature or electronic verification code.
•To submit Form-1, declarants must log in to the e-filing portal, select the relevant form and assessment year, and fill out the required schedules and tables.
•The submitted form will be available for viewing and downloading.
