The Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on October 17, 2024, notified regarding the Modification in Gold Options contract with Gold (1kg) futures as underlying to include monthly expiries.
The following has been stated:
• It has decided to modify existing Gold Options Bi-monthly expiry contracts. Gold Options contracts will now include Monthly expiry contracts with effect from Monday, November 11, 2024.
• The Gold Monthly Options contract will be available for trading as mentioned in the Table.
• The contract specification and trading parameters of the contracts as specified in Annexure herewith, shall be binding on all the Members of the Exchange and constituents trading through them.
