The Government of Goa on October 16, 2024, issued the Goa Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) (Second Amendment) Ordinance, 2024, to further amend the Goa Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Act, 2019.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Section 20A which states “Extension of time limit for provisional registration” has been inserted namely: -
“Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act or any other law for the time being in force, the provisional registration granted under this Act in the past which has lapsed or which is subsisting shall stand revived or extended and shall be deemed to be valid for a period of one year from the date of coming into force of this section.”
• Section 47 (3) has been omitted
• The Goa Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) (Amendment) Ordinance, 2024 (Ordinance No. 4 of 2024) is hereby repealed.
The following has come into force on March 15, 2024.
