The National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH) on October 08, 2024, issued a notification regarding applications for NABH Certification of HIS/ EMR Systems.
The following has been stated: -
•NABH has launched standards for Hospital Information System (HIS) and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, available for free download on their website.
•These standards aim to standardize HIS and EMR products, ensuring interoperability and alignment with the National Health Authority's ABDM platform.
•NABH offers a certification scheme with Basic and Advanced maturity levels, valid for two years, with registrations starting December 01, 2024.
•Required documents for registration include ABDM, WASA, and optional ISO certifications.
