Commercial Compliance The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on October 17, 2024, notified regarding the date of establishment of the amendment of the Indian Standard related to Animal Casings.

The following has been stated namely: -

• It states that the date of establishment of the amendment of IS 1981:2018 Animal Casings — Grades and Specification (Second Revision) is October 09, 2024, and the date till which the standard without the amendment shall remain in force will be April 08, 2025.
