The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on October 16, 2024, issued the date of establishment and date of withdrawal of certain Indian Standards (IS)
The following IS has been establishment on October 08, 2024, namely: -
• IS 2379 : 2024 Colour Code for Pipeline Identification — Code of Practice (Second Revision)
• IS 4179 : 2024 Sizes of Process Vessels and Leading Dimensions (First Revision)
• IS 4521 : 2024 Wire Ropes Used in Oil Wells and Oil Well Drilling and Other Applications of Petroleum and Natural Gas Industries — Specification (Third Revision)
The following IS shall be withdrawn on April 08, 2025, namely: -
• IS 2379 : 1990 Pipelines — Identification — Colour Code (First Revision)
• IS 4179 – 1967 Sizes of Process Vessels and Leading Dimensions
• IS 4521 : 2001 Wire Ropes Used in Oil Wells and Oil Well Drilling — Specification (Second Revision)
