The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on October 16, 2024, notified regarding the imposition of Minimum Import Price on Synthetic Knitted Fabrics up to December 31, 2024.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It is in reference to DGFT Notification No. 77/2023 dated March 16, 2024, related to the imposition of Minimum Import Price on Synthetic Knitted Fabrics up to September 15, 2024.
• It states that the Minimum Import Price (MIP) on Synthetic Knitted Fabrics is extended from September 15, 2024, to December 31, 2024.
• It further states that the MIP of US Dollar 3.50 per Kilogram on CIF Value has also been imposed on 08 new ITC (HS) Codes of various kinds of Knitted fabrics from December 31, 2024.
